dc.description.abstractStomach cancer is one of the I 0 major death causes in the world, with a bad prognostic. Its incidence is variable from a country to another, characterized by geographic disparities. The goal of our work was to study pathologic and therapeutic aspects of stomach cancer at the teaching hospital of Point G. It was a retrospective and descriptive study, who took place from January I't of 2010 to December 3l't of 2014, including 100 patients suffering from stomach cancer. The mean age ofthese patients was 53,6+l- 13,67 years with extremes going from l6 to 80 years. The male gender was predominant with a sex ratio of 1,27. On the endoscopic aspects, the antro-pyloric localization was the most frequent, with 5l%. Adenocarcinoma was the most frequent histologic aspect, with a rate of 99%o; we also found one case of epidermoid carcinoma' 70% of the patients we had were at the 4ù stage of the disease. 100% ofour patients underwent surgery, with a death rate of 50% one year after the surgery.fr_FR
